Two very well-known profesional poker players have joined Team PokerStars Pro, Marcel “The Flying Dutchman” Luske and Jason “treysfull21″ Mercier.
It’s no surprise that PokerStars wanted to nabs these guys, either. The famous Dutchman has made quite a name for himself in the poker world. In 2008, he took home the European Life Time Achievement Award for poker. He is known worldwide, having made an impact on the game of poker on multiple continents. In 2001 and 2003 he was ranked as number one player in the game at the European Poker Awards, and it is obvious that Europe has developed quite a love for the trendsetting Luske, as he definitely has his own sense of style and fans love it.
Luske has won many different titles along the way, though the one that really paved the road for him was his Main Event place at the 2004 World Series of Poker in 2004, though just missing the final table in 10th place. He also came in 2nd that year at a Stud Event. After that, it was a series of subsequent wins that just get him barreling through the live poker circuit. In 2005 and 2006 he took home the championship title at Bellagio’s Five Star Poker Classic. The best part about Luske though is that he presents himself with the upmost charm that his a well rounded personality affords. He maintains a high respect for the game while maintaining an approachable everyday personality.
Luske is not only a poker guy though. He has a soft spot for charity work, loves the entertainment industry. Being famous on television was actually his childhood dream, which sort of became a reality when he sang “The Poker Song” at the 2006 WSOP. Since then, he has performed at various poker events.
Jason Mercier, on the other hand, has not been around quite so long as Luske. He first made his debut in the poiker scene in 2008 at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure. Since then, he has been well-received by the fans as they have watched his cashes surmount. He has won $3.2 million in the past year alone, intimidating his opponents left and right.

These two new additions to PokerStars professional poker team of already unmatchable standards, are sure to bring out the game in poker.
