Interactive Television Gambling

Friday, August 7th, 2009

NetPlay TV is a United Kingdom interactive television gaming company, established in the year 2000, known as the market leader for interactive TV gambling formats and paying out more than £1 million to winning players every day. The company is planning on using its exclusive model for consumer demand of entertainment and information products and taking their product into the commercial market.

NetPlay TV’s primary goal is to create interactive games and other services for television and Internet is the primary focus for Netplay, which serves mainly the UK, but has business in other markets as well. A sample of some of the games NetPlay TV provides include bingo, live blackjack, and live roulette. Some of the websites that NetPlay TV powers are include Bingos.com, SuperCasino.com, and Eurotelemillions.com.

“NetPlay TV has come of age. The business has been transformed during the course of the year into a significantly larger interactive media business. The demand for “live” gaming is starting to gather momentum, and we are uniquely positioned to take advantage of this major opportunity. The UK Government is committed to the delivery of a fast Internet service for all and, as such, TV quality interactive programming is now available to an increased and growing number of UK homes,” states Clive Jones, NetPlay TV Non-Executive Chairman.

This last year has been busy one, but a very demanding one, as well. They have recently signed a deal with a commercial terrestrial broadcaster based in Scotland, STV, which will produce “the first live interactive TV casino on a national terrestrial broadcast channel.” STV reaches more than four million viewers as the biggest commercial broadcaster in Scotland.

NetPlay TV is also anticipating the launch a new line of live betting products to be sold at retail betting shops.
